Star Wars offering to include 13 Easykit models in new packaging, including a TIE Fighter and Sith Infiltrator.
Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace hits the big screen this year in 3D and Revell is extending its successful Star Wars Easykit range with 13 models in new packaging, including a TIE Fighter, Sith Infiltrator and General Grievous’ Starfighter.
The Revell Control brand is also being extended with innovations including the Outspeeder, a mini stunt car with built-in roll bar and a top speed of 20 km/h. New colour versions with different frequencies will follow in the spring, enabling drivers to go head-to-head in high-speed races.
A new concept is unleashed in the remote control model market. The new eight to 12 children’s brand, Revellutions, will launch with a range of colourful cars and will be suitable for indoors and outdoors use. Also watch out for a hi-tech range of Smartphone and Video Camera Helicopters.
Experienced modellers will see a new range for 2012, which includes the London Bus and London Taxi. Both models were originally in service at the same time so will have universal appeal.
Other spring 2012 highlights include a new beginner’s range of plastic kits - Micro Wings - featuring classic RAF and Luftwaffe aircraft Spitfire, Hurricane and Messerschmitt; plus the newly tooled Ford Shelby, Ferrari and original Mini Cooper.
Play and education are combined with Revell’s newer brands, including X-Ray, a range of snap together transparent models. New additions to the existing range include the Giraffe and German Shepherd Dog.
Other lines on show are Water Play toys; a selection of activity toys for infants and toddlers; and Brik-a-Blok, the giant size modular construction toy.
