Fi?ures is Playmobil UK's best ever seller

Over 300,000 units of the blind bag collectable sold to date; Series 2 goes to retail.

Fi?ures has become Playmobil's biggest UK seller in terms of volume, shifting over 300,000 units since launching last August.

Like Series 1, the current crop of Fi?ures are divided into two assortments of 12 – one for boys and one for girls.

To add play value the characters must be constructed, unlike traditional Playmobil men.

"Children love the excitement of not knowing which character is in the mystery bag," said Playmobil's marketing manager Jamie Dickinson.

"Additionally, the opportunity to assemble, take apart, or mix and match body parts and accessories delivers hours of creative play. This is why these toys have been extremely popular in the playground."
