This year's event boosted the industry with a wide range of press coverage, including nationals, regionals, bloggers and wires.
The TRA's annual Dream Toys event yesterday attracted press attention from a wide range of media, helping bring the industry into the spotlight in the run up to Christmas.
National press coverage can be seen in broadsheet papers including The Guardian, which covered the announcement in pictures and with a news story, and later in the day with a price comparison on the Dream Dozen; The Telegraph led, like many others with John Adams' Doggie Doo game, for its story; The Independent also gave space to the Dream Dozen.
The tabloids also bought the news to their readers with stories in The Express, The Mirror, and The Daily Mail.
The BBC went to town with stories appearing as a picture gallery, a video clip and on the broadcaster's Radio 1 website and even with a spin-off chat on the CBBC Newsround site.
The regionals also made sure that news of the Dream Dozen was spread far and wide, with coverage in The Herald Scotland, London Net, The Scotsman, The Birmingham Mail, The Yorkshire Post, The Metro and many more.
