The iPhone-controlled copter has been recreated as a micro sculpture less than 1mm in length.
Willard Wigan, the mind-boggling micro artist, has once again turned his steady hand to R/C toys.
Flying Toys previously comissioned the sculptor, who is a fanatical helecopter fan, to make a 2mm version of the Silverlit Picoo Z, which was shown at the supplier's stand at Spring Fair 2008.
In keeping with tradition, Flyig Toys will be displaying the microscopic AR.Drone at Spring Fair (stand 3A03) between February 5th and 9th.
The AR.Drone's complex quadricopter design meant the project was one of the most challenging works that Wigan has ever made.

Flying Toys’ Media media savvy managing director David Rawlins and renowned micro sculptor Willard Wigan.
To make his art, Wigan uses a scalpel made from a single shard of crushed diamond and a high-powered microscope worth over £50,000.
