Tomy expands its girls line-up

Tomy has acquired the rights to Famosa’s collectable mini dolls, Pinypon.

Pinypon is aimed at girls aged four to seven and feature interchangeable hair styles, facial expressions, torsos, feet and accessories.

Tomy’s senior brand manager, Sarah Davies, commented: “The collection of these cute miniature dolls complements Tomy’s existing girl’s collectables, MicroPets-i which enjoyed huge success in 2010.

"It puts us in a great position to expand further in the girl’s category with something fresh and new that will really capture the imaginations of four to seven-year-old girls.”

As well as the standard dolls, the range includes flower-themed scented dolls and a range of play-sets including a Pinypon car, travel pack, caravan, apartment and more.

The toys will launch onto the UK market in July, in time for the autumn/winter seasons. Prices for the range start at £3.49 for the dolls and up to £29.99 for the Pinypon apartment.
