The awards were launched this year by BTHA Chairman Roger Dyson. Winners were voted across 12 categories by a panel of retail experts and unveiled to press and visitors at the Toy Fair breakfast briefing on the opening morning. The winners were – literally – put on a pedestal and displayed throughout the event, attracting extensive media coverage.
