
Eaglemoss Publishing Group to produce a series of mini figurines based on LittleBigPlanet.
Target Entertainment Group has signed a range of new licensing deals for two PlayStation software IPs, LittleBigPlanet and Ratchet and Clank.
Eaglemoss Publishing Group has signed a deal to produce a series of mini figurines based on Sackboy from LittleBigPlanet, each with themed clothes and accessories.
The firm will also produce a series of stickers and sticker albums. The deal covers UK and Eire, France, Germany, Italy and Spain
Penguin Group (UK) will publish The Ultimate Official Guide to LittleBigPlanet. The book will include hints and tips about the game and a customizable poster and access to exclusive downloads. The deal is for English language worldwide, excluding North America.
In the clothing category, Aykroyds and TDP Licensing are on board to produce children’s nightwear and underwear for LittleBigPlanet in the UK and Eire, while Smith and Brooks have the license to manufacture a range of boys and girls outerwear and leisurewear for both LittleBigPlanet and Ratchet and Clank.
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) appointed Target as the consumer product licensing agent for PlayStation software IPs in April 2009.
