Konami is looking for a commercially minded trading card game aficionado to work at its West London offices.
Konami is a world leading developer and publisher of video games (Metal Gear Solid, Pro Evolution Soccer).
In addition to its video games business it also manufactures and distributes the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game.
The European arm of this business is expanding and Konami is looking for a commercially minded trading card game aficionado to take on the newly created Trading Card Games coordinator role.
This person will champion the Yu-Gi-Oh! brand within Konami and outside the organisation. It is a varied role requiring somebody organised and efficient with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of trading card games and organised play is essential however; this must be backed up by sound commercial experience and business acumen.
The successful candidate will oversee all Yu-Gi-Oh! activities in the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. You will work closely with external OP & PR agencies overseeing events whilst maintaining regular contact with distributors to determine ways to increase the popularity, sales and profitability of Yu-Gi-Oh!
