The firm has formed a partnership with Nic Powley of Backroom Operations which organises many of the skateboarding events throughout the UK. Powley is also the UK Manager for the Vans skateboard team and will be working with Spin Master to promote Tech Deck through grass root events over the coming twelve months.

The Young Guns competition, the first of its kind in the UK is being held at Adrenaline Alley in July – to promote skateboarding within 6-16 year olds - the winners of which will have a chance to skate at the UK National Skateboard Championships in September.

Tech Deck is a joint sponsor at both events offering prizes and giveaways and will be heavily promoted on site. Young Guns and the UKNSC get major coverage in all the major skateboarding magazines and on-line offering good exposure for the Tech Deck brand.
