Today is the closing date for entries to the inaugural ToyNews Fives football tournament.
The tournament, in aid of the Toy Trust, takes place at the Powerleague in Barnet next Friday (July 10th). Teams entered so far include Mattel, Hasbro, Lego, Tomy, Grant and Bowman, MGA/Zapf, Hit Entertainment, Thumbs Up, Mega Brands, Turner, 4T2, Leapfrog, Firebox, Amethyst and of course, ToyNews.
The draw for the tournament will be announced here tomorrow. So, if you want to play you have to enter by the end of the day.
Each team will play a minimum of six games and entry costs £575, with £100 of that going to the Toy Trust. There will also be a gourmet barbecue and team and individual trophy presentation.
