Cartronic takes on distribution of Kids@Play products in Germany, while the firm in turn distributes Cartronic in the UK.
Kurt Hesse, chairman of Cartronic Toys told ToyNews: “We have seen Kids@Play grow its business by 80 per cent against a market that was minus 18 per cent between January and March 09.
"This is just one of the reasons why we have made our choice to work with Kids@Play for the UK toy market.
“We are very impressed with the battery operated ride-on toys that they have developed. Having seen their new range plan, we are confident that we can sell Kids@Play products in the German market.”
Cartronic is now building range of mid-market and mid-priced products for the UK market. The firm is looking at more UK specific car types and is looking into the possibility of F1 and movie licences.
“Our new cars will have tail-lights, upgraded motors, upgraded wheels and offer excellent profit take for the British retailer.”
