A US appeal court has thrown out WWE's suit against Jakks Pacific.
The ruling upheld a district court’s decision last September that dismissed World Wrestling Entertainment’s suit against Jakks and some of its staff over rights to make WWE video games.
"We are pleased that both the Federal District Court and the Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit have dismissed WWE’s federal claims,” said Jack Friedman, Jakks’ chairman and joint-CEO.
WWE had accused certain Jakks executives of offering $100,000 in bribes for rights to market WWE video games. The federal case was dismissed in late 2007. A civil case was dismissed by the Connecticut Supreme Court in the autumn.
