The Hama brand has shown growth of over 40 per cent while DKL’s other ranges, Corolle, Wonderworld, Viking, are all in double figure growth.
Kai Hawaleschka, MD said: “We are very pleased by the large growth in sales bearing in mind the UK economy reports. We have a great offering and launched some fantastic new product across all of our ranges.
“The growth is not limited to one sector, the independent trade has really grown with Hama’s new items and boxing, plus the nationals have all bought into the ranges too.
“Now we have to keep the momentum going and we will be achieving this with high profile marketing, good product and great service”.
New to the DKL stable is Sigikid which has also enjoyed increased penetration into the UK market.
