Company behind the iconic yellow and red Cozy Coupe has enjoyed its strongest March in almost a decade.
Despite a challenging economic backdrop, Little Tikes sales were up 45 per cent across its core outdoor toys range, providing promising news for the toy trade ahead of the crucial Easter period.
The firm expects sales to rise further as the company celebrates its birthday celebrations for the Cozy Coupe, a toy nearly all parents have purchased at some stage, now in its 30th year.
Ron Brawer, managing director of Little Tikes, said: “It appears that, with less travel planned this year, parents are investing for a long summer in the garden.
“We are seeing brisk sales on many of our core items such as slides and swingsets along with increases in ride-ons buoyed by our new 30th anniversary Cozy Coupe. Combined with sales of non-core items such as Little Tikes inflatables and paddling pools, we’re anticipating a very strong spring/summer season.”
