Andrew Coplestone, Halsall Marketing Director, commented: “We are delighted to secure this license deal with Fifi and the Flowertots which has proved itself to be another top performing pre-school property from Chapman Entertainment. This exciting deal caps a great year for Halsall with Fifi, as the brand continues to go from strength to strength. Following fantastic incremental growth with the brand over the past 3 years, we have experienced a phenomenal 51% growth between 2007 to 2008, which is testament to the strength of the brand and Halsall’s successful product range. Music is an integral part of this popular series and we are confident that Halsall’s new Fifi musical toys will bring music to the ears of retailers and little Fifi fans alike!”
Val Fry, Director of Licensing at Chapman Entertainment, comments: “We are very proud of the success that Fifi is experiencing with Halsall, and we’re sure that musical toys will be no exception. As 2009 fast approaches we have very high expectations for the brand, even despite the current economic conditions. She is a unique proposition and music plays a huge part in her appeal. Voiced by Jane Horrocks, she’s a product both kids and parents can enjoy together!”
