Disney Consumer Products is taking life-size models of characters from one its leading boys' franchises on tour around Europe.
Lightning McQueen, Sslly and Mater models from Disney/Pixar's hit Cars, will begin their tour in the UK this July, onboard the Mack Truck.
Over three months they will travel through Western Europe, attending motor shows, events and retail outlets, before finished the tour in October in Eastern Europe.
Pit stops have been scheduled for London, Manchester, Bristol, Reading and Oldbury as well as a special appearance at the British International Motor Show, from July 23rd to August 10th.
Visitors to each stop will have the opportunity to see and test-drive the new Walking Talking Lightning McQueen product from master toy licensee, Mattel, as well as play interactive games. Photo shoots, competitions and goodie bags will also be available.
As one of DCP's leading boys' franchises, Cars has generated more than $2 billion in global retail sales during fiscal year 2007.
