The Chad Valley range of products are to be sold throughout Spencer’s Retail outlets, a subsidiary of RPG group.

According to RPG’s vice-chairman, Sanjiv Goenka, India’s toy market is expanding by 30 per cent on an annual basis, and Spencer’s, with an area of 1.1 million square feet in 65 cities, looks to double its floor space in the next 12 months, spreading its network to 71 cities.

“Out of 1 billion Indians, 160 million are children below seven years while another 190 million are between seven and 14 range. So we hope to capture that market with children’s products,” Goenka said.
