The move comes in the wake of Youngsters’ current difficulties with regard to obtaining credit cover, which has seen many accounts put on stop.

Toymaster MD Roger Dyson explained: “It has always been my intention that Toymaster Ltd should demonstrate transparency to our members and suppliers, a partnership that has worked successfully for so long. You can be assured that the information that is presented will be both factual and up to date, all questions will be answered.

“I would like to assure all suppliers that Toymaster traded profitably in 2007 and was also able to considerably strengthen the balance sheet, despite a difficult year for our members. Toymaster Ltd entered 2008 in a considerably stronger financial position than in the previous year.”
