Goldner, who joined the firm from Bandai America in 2000, will take over the role from May 22nd.

Verrecchia, who has been with Hasbro for 43 years, will become chairman of the board, currently held by Alan Hassenfeld, a member of the firm’s founding family.

The announcement comes after the firm reported encouraging results for its full year financial results, buoyed by the success of Transformers.
