There are 56 nominees for the 8th annual Toy Of The Year Awards, which mark the start to New York's Toy Fair.
Products from firms like Mattel, Hasbro, Spin Master, Leapfrog, Jakks, Disney and Manhattan Toy have been nominated.
The awards will be held at Pier 60 at Chelsea Piers on February 16th
Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen, third generation of the Lego family and principal shareholder of the Lego Group, will travel from Denmark to be inducted into the Toy Hall of Fame.
Voting has opened and members and associate members of the TIA are invited to put forward their votes before Monday, January 14th. Ballot forms are available at www.totyawards.org.
