Flair appeals to young writers

Firm's marketing activity for Sylvanian Families receives good response.

Flair continues to promote its popular Sylvanian Families range with The Grand Hotel Creative Writing Competition.

The campaign, which commenced at the beginning of October, coincides with the brand’s 20th anniversary and launch of the Grand Hotel product.

Children are still eligible to enter. They are invited to write about how they would spend a day at a ‘Grand Hotel’.

Vouchers for the Marriott Hotel plus Sylvanian Families products will be awarded to the winners of the three age categories.

Entry forms are available in more than 500 retail outlets, children’s magazines and via the Sylvanian Families Collectors Club.

Lindsay Hardy, marketing director of Flair said: “Stories started rolling in within two days of the campaign packs being posted out to retailers. The response has been amazing and girls and boys have been really captivated by the appeal of the Grand Hotel.”

“We can honestly say it has been our most popular campaign ever,” Hardy said.

The winners of the competition will be announced at the end of November.
