Firm teams up with Corporate Creative Licensing to launch toy range based on the children’s TV series.
A range of puzzles and soft toys for ToddWorld featuring its main characters Pickle, Benny, Sophie, Stella and Todd himself will hit the shelves in Spring 2009.
ToddWorld is an Emmy nominated animated series based on books from author Todd Parr. The show focuses on the adventures of a young boy named Todd and his friends.
In the UK, ToddWorld has enjoyed a successful run on CBeebies, where scheduling is now secured until 2012.
Lee Clowes, head of international sales at Trends said: “We are very excited to be teaming up with CCL to licence ToddWorld. We see significant potential in this fun, charming property; no wonder it is a favourite at CBeebies.”
The deal begins a raft of licences for the brand in the UK and publisher of pre-school magazines, Redan, has also been named as a licensee.

The company will include ToddWorld in compilation title ‘FTLFriends’ and sister title ‘FTL Favourites’ from January 2009 onwards.
