The Role:

The role will award the successful candidate with a unique opportunity to work across a wide and diverse range of novelty products on some of the most prestigious brands and authors in children’s publishing.

 

 

You are a great communicator - adept at building and maintaining relationships with sales and creative colleagues alike.  You have a good technical knowledge and expertise of novelty manufacturing processes, strong commercial awareness and demonstrate passion for your products.

 

You will be responsible for delivering the product development strategy for the Penguin Production department - including gathering and prioritising business requirements in this area, agreeing component purchasing strategy and maintaining a component supplier base with a focus on CSR, as well as handling component scale negotiations.  You will also play a pivotal role in trouble shooting issues on novelty products and actively share your expertise to help broaden the team’s knowledge.

 

Accountable for your own workload, you will really add value by driving product innovation through the business and introducing new product development strands.  Experience working on colour and novelty products essential.
