The Company:
An amazing opportunity has arisen to work for Underground Toys in their South London office. Working closely with the Licensing Director when developing and approving ranges. Underground Toys hold licenses for Star Wars, Doctor Who, Hello Kitty, Almost Naked Animals and many more. With their continued success in international marketplaces Underground are looking to appoint a new Product Development Coordinator to join their PD department.
The Role involves:
Uploading/submitting products and packaging with licensors and completing approval process.
Managing product and packaging samples for final approval with licensors.
Coordinating with designers to get products and packaging approved internally.
Coordinating the sales and marketing information for Sales Dept.
Managing and updating product specification sheets for internal use.
Assisting in the creation of product ideas.
Assisting in time-managing designers.
Aiding in defining the line of products to be launched.
Updating and improving a line plan document.
Assisting in the organisation of the bi-annual sales/distributor meetings.
Required skills:
The right candidate should be well-organised, have a positive outlook, be enthusiastic, flexible and adaptable.
Experience within Product Development.
Good communication skills.
Attention to detail is very important.
Time-management, ability to prioritise workload.
Creative and innovation skills.
Computer literate including Excel, PowerPoint etc and ability to easily learn on-line licensor systems.
Team player.
Experience of liaising with vendors/ suppliers would be an advantage.
Hard-worker and ‘muck in’ attitude.
