For our client, a substantial North American multinational toy manufacturer we are recruiting a General Sales Manager Northern Europe with responsibility for the countries of Germany, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland.
Suitable candidates will have been working for at least five years as senior sales executive in the toy industry in Germany or Benelux. TV marketing experience, P&L experience running a business or division, proven ability in managing and recruiting sales people and proficiency in researching and analyzing market opportunities are important requirements for the role.
The job will appeal to someone with a high degree of personal initiative, a passionate salesman and confident decision maker with strong commercial awareness and analytical skills. Fluency in English is imperative and other languages, such as German would be a bonus.
The General Sales Manager Northern Europe could live anywhere in Northern Europe, close to a major airport. The remuneration includes a competitive salary, reflecting the responsibility of the role, performance related bonus, company car, medical insurance and pension contribution.
