More than 90,000 buyers and over 2,600 exhibitors from all over the world took part in the 2012 HKTDC Hong Kong Toys and Games Fair, HKTDC Hong Kong Baby Products Fair, HKTDC Hong Kong International Licensing Show and Hong Kong International Stationery Fair.

Major visiting countries & regions included Australia, the Chinese mainland, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Russian, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom and the USA.

Global Buyers
“More and more overseas enterprises are coming to Hong Kong for the large-scale international exhibitions here,” said HKTDC Toys Advisory Committee Chairman Wong Tit Shing. He noted that this year’s Toy Fair welcomed some 36,000 buyers, up six percent over the previous year.

Mr Wong said the interest in the Hong Kong Trade Development Council’s first fairs of 2012 reflected the global economic shift from West to East. “This trend has consolidated Hong Kong’s position as Asia’s exhibition capital,” he said.
